Wasted space

What will you do what the gift of your presence?

I’ve had the pleasure of reading articles about billionaires feuding over space travel. My first thought was, “rich people problems.” Of all the things going on in this world, the idea of not being the first billionaire in space must be so soul-crushing.

Turning a blind eye.

I don’t know about anyone else but I see a world on fire. We have people trying to put it out, others watching nonchalantly, and a very small amount racing to hop on the next spaceship out of here.

Space exploration has never been something that kept me up at night. I’ve always been way too concerned about the hurting planet I was born on. I had the luck of having a mom that taught me to care about others so when I hear about life beyond this world, I wonder what the heck is the plan to make life on earth better.

We all take up space. Sadly, we can all be in the exact same room but be completely disconnected. How is it that some human beings can be so oblivious to others and their needs? Granted some people turn a blind eye to the pain and suffering of others but some individuals are completely clueless.

Wasted space.

I like to think of myself as a poor philanthropist. I do what I can with whatever I have. Looking out for others…
